The weekend of March 5th, Pangea stopped by Mix LA to record the remaining four songs to complete their upcoming full length debut, Living Dumbly. As always with this band, it was uninterrupted fun. The four guys in Pangea bring great energy into the studio which ends in great songs and recorded material. Every time we work together, the songs seem to be stronger and the sounds crisper. We recorded the tracks live with all the musicians/instruments in the Live Room, bleed and everything. The songs ended up taking 3 days total for tracking and mixing, paying a little extra detail to performance and mixing than we have in the past. I’m particularly excited about “No Feelin’”. Luckily, Jenae was assisting me and was able to get some great photos. Look out for the Living Dumbly LP/CD/Cassette co-released on Ol’Factory/Burger/Lauren Records.
