About

My name is Andrew.  I live in Southern California with my wonderful, writer wife.  I am a graduate of the Conservatory of Recording Arts & Sciences in Phoenix, AZ.  In 2008 after 5 years of living and working in Phoenix, I moved back to SoCal and began engineering in studios around town.

I am obsessed with music and sounds.  I enjoy the record making process in all its aspects, whether it be pre-production, recording, mixing, editing, overdubbing….I love it all and always look forward to the next challenge.

Feel free to contact me for your next project or if you have any questions call or text me at 818.585.9973

  1. Andrew,

My name is Frank and I am a bass player, sound engineer and music educator. I have been working with recording for many years but I am always trying to improve my sound and technique. One of my favorite artists right now in terms of sound, music, and everything else is Chris Daughtry. When I looked who was the mis engineer, I saw your name. I was very excited to see if I could reach out to you to maybe ask you some questions about small tips and tricks. I am looking to make my mixes sound very alive and I constantly try and compare to many of Daughtry’s sound as I am a rock/jazz/blues musician as well. I am not looking for a gear or product conversation as I have decent gear but my main goal is to hone all my skills in EQ, compression, etc. I wanted to let you know that because although plugins and software have everything to do with engineering, it is still considered and art and I would love to understand your work more.

Thanks and I hope to hear from you!
    Frank Prendergast
